The Saudi-led coalition began its war on March 26, 2015, and is now entering the third year of operation. It has been accused of committing several war crimes against the people of Yemen by several humanitarian organizations.
As a response, British activists held a conference in solidarity with Yemen condemning the ongoing war waged by the Saudi-led coalition as well as the role Britain is playing in gaining control over Bahrain.
In a similar context, a number of British and Arab politicians and activists took part in yesterday’s conference in London to highlight the Saudi role in destabilizing the region, igniting wars and sectarian divisions, especially the war in Yemen and Saudi motives behind its continuation.
